Visit the Famous Chandramouleshwara Temple

Located in Unakal village along the banks of Lake Unakal, this 900-years old temple is a masterpiece from the Chalukya times. It is a Shiva temple with two lingas. One is enclosed in the main shrine and has entrances from four directions. The second linga is called as ‘Chaturmikha Linga’ or the ‘linga with four faces. The carvings and the temple architecture are truly captivating and mesmerising.

This place has the tallest monolithic statue of Bhagavan Teerthankar. This statue is in Khadagasana Mudra and is monuetd on a pedestal that is 48 ft. high. Lake Unakal and Bund Garden

Lake Unakal is one of the most common attractions in Hubli. This lake is more than a century old and measures about 200 acres of land. The statue of Swami Vivekananda stands at the centre of the lake and is a major tourist attraction.
